WHAT'S IN A NAME?
We'll be the first to admit it; Minderbinder isn't a word you hear every day. Rather than just naming our business after our founders, we chose this name. Why, you ask?
Milo Minderbinder is an iconic character in Joseph Heller's 1961 classic, Catch 22. Some describe him as a meticulous and opportunistic businessman; the ideal personification of 20th Century capitalism. Others would call him a mischievous profiteer. No matter which side of the table you're on, it's impossible to dispute the provocative dichotomy that Minderbinder embodies. He's a brilliant strategist who never stops thinking, never stops imagining, then reimagining, the best way to turn ideas into something of value.
That character from Catch 22 represents much of what we at Minderbinder see in ourselves. We are restless thinkers, ceaselessly contemplating the best ways to merge marketing and advertising, to turn ideas into action, and to turn actions into profits. And of course, the best ways to help our clients succeed.
That's what Minderbinder means to us.
